Each item we sell, whether we make it or source it, has been tasted and talked about. If it’s something we sell, it’s something we eat. And it’s something we want to share.
For a small neighborhood shop, our shelves are jam packed with flavor. The staples are always here, seasonal favorites are stocked when you need them, new items arrive all the time.
Visit us here or, better yet, visit us in person – we see our devoted regulars at least once a week.
Kale salad, meatloaf, briny roast chickens, fried egg sandwich, barley with mushrooms, simple roasted cauliflower, Chinese-style pork loin, red quinoa with beets, Japanese eggplant. Our vegetables and grains are for sale by the pound, so you can have a lot or a little. Ingredients are sourced from growers in the region (Pennsylvania to Vermont). Local when it’s seasonal, organic when we can. No hormones or antibiotics in our proteins or our dairy. This is the food we make fresh daily.
Eggs, bacon, goat milk caramels, bitters, local cheese, pickled vegetables, ice cream, peanut butter, hot sauce (a lot of hot sauce), za’taar, fancy chocolate, crackers, ground lamb, heritage beans, sauerkraut, popcorn. Our groceries are hand-picked from near and far with a nod toward Brooklyn. Most of the companies are small, many of them we know. This is how we stock our pantry.
